Privacy policy.

Your orbit is yours. Here’s how information is handled by the current Arcwell game and this website.

Pre-release policy preview. This describes the current offline build. Support retention practices and the final release’s platform integrations are being confirmed. This preview will be updated before store release.

Preview last updated: October 1, 2026.

Who is responsible

Arcwell is published under the Willow Development name. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].

Information used by the game

Arcwell stores game progress, preferences, and saved gameplay data locally on your device. We use these saves to restore your progress, apply your chosen settings, and let you return to saved gameplay.

The game processes headset and controller input, including positions, orientations, and button actions, to display your view and let you interact with the game. In the current offline build, this input and your local gameplay data are not transmitted to the developer.

The current game does not require an Arcwell account and has no advertising, developer analytics, telemetry, or developer-operated online service. We do not collect, sell, or share personal information through the current offline game.

Local data and deletion

Local game data remains on your device until removed. You can remove it using your device’s app-data controls or by uninstalling the app. Removing it may erase progress and preferences.

Device backup and restore behavior may affect copies managed by your platform provider. Deleting local data does not necessarily delete platform-managed backups; use the platform’s controls for those copies.

Meta platform services

Meta provides the headset operating system, store, purchases, and related platform services. Meta handles information under its own privacy policy. This policy describes Arcwell and does not make claims about information handled independently by Meta.

This website

This website has no analytics, advertising, tracking cookies, account system, or contact form. Fonts and visual assets are served with the site. The interactive orbital illustration runs in your browser and does not send your interactions to us.

The hosting provider necessarily receives technical information when delivering the website, such as an IP address and request information. Its security and access logging practices depend on the provider. Hosting details will be confirmed before publication of the final policy.

Support correspondence

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send, including your email address, message, and any attachments or diagnostic details you include, such as your headset model and app version. We use that information to respond to your request and investigate the problem you report. Please avoid sending passwords or sensitive personal information.

Our support provider, access controls, retention period, and correspondence deletion process will be documented when the dedicated support channel is established.

Children and platform age features

The current offline build does not collect children’s personal information through a developer-operated service. The intended mixed-age release requires a review of Meta’s age-related platform features. This policy will be updated to describe any data handled by those integrations before release.

Changes to this policy

When Arcwell’s data handling changes, we will update this policy and its effective date. The current preview is not a certification of a future release’s data practices.

Request deletion of your data

All users, regardless of where they live, can request deletion of information held by us by emailing [email protected] with the subject “Arcwell data deletion”. There is no fee. This includes support emails, attachments, and diagnostic details you have sent us. Tell us which correspondence you want deleted, preferably from the email address used to contact support. Do not send passwords or identity documents with your request.

We cannot remotely delete saves held only on your headset, or information controlled independently by Meta. Use the device and platform controls described under “Local data and deletion” for those copies. If we cannot fulfill any part of a deletion request, we will explain the reason and which information is affected.

For other privacy questions, use the same contact address or visit Arcwell support.
