What is Arcwell?
Arcwell is a single-player VR orbital puzzle game being prepared for Meta Quest. Launch rockets through planetary gravity, refine your flight with limited fuel, explore authored missions and seeded challenges, or experiment in Playground.
How do I get started?
Begin in the Observatory and choose training. It introduces aiming, launching, and reading the gravity field. Then choose a mission and experiment: a miss is a chance to try a new route.
Which controls does the game use?
Arcwell uses Quest Touch controllers. Follow the in-game training for your chosen dominant hand. During a flight, the tablet shows the available boost and brake controls. Visible virtual gloves do not indicate hand-tracking support.
The view or controls feel out of reach.
Pause in a safe, clear play area. Use your headset’s system recenter control to reset your view, then check the game’s calibration and movement settings. If you feel uncomfortable, remove the headset and take a break.
Is an account or internet connection required?
The current offline game does not require an Arcwell account or an internet connection for gameplay. Meta’s store, installation, updates, and platform services may require their own account and connection.
Where is my progress stored?
Progress and preferences are saved locally on your headset. Platform backup and restore behavior may affect copies. Be careful when clearing app data or uninstalling: you may lose progress and settings.
How can I delete my data?
The developer does not receive your local gameplay data in the current offline build. Use your device’s app-data controls or uninstall Arcwell to remove local data. For backups held by the platform, consult Meta’s device and backup controls. See the privacy policy for more detail.
